Morgan Linton, Jason Thompson and Tan Tran host the best Domaining Party of 2012. The drive from West Hollywood to the City of Laguna Hills, California, located in South Orange County took an hour and 20 minutes. Tan Tran the mastermind behind FreshDrop.net hosted the 2012 Southern California Domainers Meetup at his house.
Jason Thompson was one of the main speakers who spoke to a crowd of 50+ Domainers about building custom Amazon Associates stores that publish thousands of items in minutes; I learned more in 30 minutes than I did in 10 years about Amazon Stores! For those of you who are interested in developing your domain names than I recommend you follow JasonThompson.co!
Kevin Faler was also among the crowd that I had the pleasure to meet. Kevin got into the game in the mid 90’s and tonight he was at the meetup with his Son who is on the right track as far I’m concerned; domain name development is the only solution!
I also had the pleasure to meet Paul Sawhney the Sales Manager at Price.com and Robert Chandler the owner of InternetAddressSolutions.com. Paul’s generic dot india (.in) domain name portfolio is huge! At the rate India is booming, Paul will be one of the key players profiting from the 1 Billion + souls in India!
Ron Wells aka Sandiego Domainer (RonaldWells.com) was also one of many Domainers I was fortunate enough to meet. Time went by so quickly that I did not get a chance to meet everyone.
Morgan Linton finished the night with inside secrets on how to buy and sell domain names to End Users. If you don’t know who Morgan Linton is than you better look him up and follow him at MorganLinton.com! The half hour presentation on how to find, approach and seal the deal with End Users was priceless!
The 2012 Southern California Meetup was a success and I like to thank Tan’s family for the delicious food and hospitality.

Great to see a “pod” hosting a domaining party. Interesting to learn too that Jason has some insights on Amazon stores…my own impression is that they don’t work.
